FIELD: medicine, oncology.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with treating oncological diseases, local and invasive forms of uterine cervix cancer, in particular. The method deals with local application of inductors of endogenic interferon in preoperational period. One should daily perform 14 applications with 5%-cycloferon liniment onto a tumor at the volume of 3-5 ml either in caps or at tampons during 2 wk at the background of distance radiation therapy at the dosage of 20-30 g/small pelvis. Then patients should undergo radical hysterectomy. The method enables to reduce tumor size, increase its operability and survival rate in patients due to activation of own immunity and possible radio-sensitizing impact of cycloferon upon a tumor.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
