SUBSTANCE: proposed hammer crusher has housing, crushing chamber, inlet and outlet necks, vortex chamber, rotor, concaves, screen, air and material flow forming unit mounted on vertical swivel axle; its upper surface is detachable at friction coefficient of 0.25-0.65 and lower surface is provided with additional concave consisting of strips with riffled faces; riffle angle is 45-90 deg. Angle of inclination of working surfaces may be adjustable relative to level:25-45 deg. for upper surface and 10-20 deg. for lower surface.

EFFECT: improved quality of grinding; enhanced smoothness of granulometric composition; reduced power requirements.
