FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method involves providing catching mountain channels of drainage network along peat deposit boundaries and hydraulic screens; aligning catching mountain channel with drainage channel and forming it on massif to be drained in offset relation with respect to outer boundaries by distance of from 20 m to 200 m; providing interception of slope surface drain and tapering out ground water by cavities on trace of traditional arrangement of channel; determining offset of catching mountain channel from outer boundary of massif to be drained from formula: d=2λ√at, (1), where d is value of offset of catching mountain channel from boundary inside massif to be drained, m; t is time, day; λ is independent variable of Gauss probability integral (tabulated function) of the type erfc(λ)=1-erf(λ); (2), a is level conductivity of water-bearing layer (m2/day) determined as
(3), where Cf is filtration coefficient of water-bearing layer, m/day; th is thickness of water-bearing layer, m; µ is water yield in parts of unit; using as additional condition for determining value λ=f(d) and expected drop of ground water level on boundary of massif to be drained during providing of catching mountain channel on newly formed trace a modified dependence ΔHd=ΔH0erfc(λ), (4), where ΔHd is drop of ground water level at distance d from drainage system, m; ΔH0 is drop of level (head) on newly formed trace of catching mountain channel according to claimed method, m. Method allows guarding effect of said channel to be combined with draining effect and zone of influence of hydraulic amelioration system upon level of ground water of adjoining land to be reduced.
EFFECT: reduced expenses for construction of drainage system having reduced dimensional parameters with unaltered area of drainage of overmoistened lands, and substantial reduction of damage to adjoining lands.
