FIELD: agriculture; land reclamation.
SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for use in drop irrigation systems. Proposed dropper has housing forming cylindrical space, when connected with cover. Inlet branch pipe is provided in cover. Axis of branch pipe is displaced sideward relative to vertical axis of cylindrical space. Meter with shutoff member in form of hollow segment, metering blade and counterweight is installed in cylindrical space for free rotation. Stops are provided to limit travel of shutoff member and metering blade. Housing is made integral with hollow injector provided with through conical holes over entire side surface. Outer diameter of said holes is greater than inner diameter. Sharp point on end of injector is designed for penetration into root layer of soil.
EFFECT: improved operation reliability of dropper.
