FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, milk counting equipment used in milk pipeline systems of milking units in dairy farms.
SUBSTANCE: milk counter has feeding chamber with opening, milk feeding branch pipe and vacuumizing branch pipe, pipe with gauged orifice and upper level sensor, measuring chamber with overflow branch pipe, feeding channel with separating valve, electromagnetic valve for communicating feeding channel with atmosphere, lower level sensor, amplifier, time relay, operation mode change-over mechanism, scale coefficient setter with counting device, and indicating unit. On delivery of milk into feeding and measuring chambers, lower level sensor is actuated to raise milk level to upper level sensor for providing actuation of separating valve and, consequently, supplying of milk into milk pipeline.
EFFECT: increased precision in milk counting and milk passage capacity.
