FIELD: medical equipment, namely non-invasive monitoring of glucose concentration in blood of patient.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus according to first variant of invention includes thermistor pickups; warning alarm device and computer with display. Apparatus is provided with carried and basic units having transmitting and receiving means for their interaction. Carried unit has thermistor pickups in the form of miniature circuits that may be cemented onto human skin and autonomous electronic module connected with said pickups through wire. Said module includes connected in series amplifiers, unit for switching measuring lines, pickup analog signal-to-binary code converter, control microprocessor and interface for receiving-transmitting means and for alarm device. Module also includes calibrator connected with amplifiers, power source and pulse generator connected with switching circuit and with electronic switch made with possibility of switching ON/OFF power for all circuits of carried unit except pickups, amplifiers and microprocessor. Basic unit also includes receiving and transmitting means and interface for connecting said means to computer in order to transmit control signals through microprocessor of carried unit to calibrator. Apparatus according to second variant of invention also includes carried and basic units having for their mutual interaction receiving-transmitting means. But thermistor pickups in the form of miniature circuits are connected with radio transmitter. Carried unit includes autonomous portable electronic module having connected in series radio receiver for connecting with radio transmitter, circuit for switching measuring lines, analog signal-to-binary code converter, control microprocessor and interface for receiving-transmitting means and for alarm device. Carried unit also includes calibrator connected with amplifiers, power source and pulse generator connected with switching circuit and with electronic switch. The last provides possibility for switching ON/OFF power for all circuits of carried unit except pickups, amplifiers and microprocessor. Basic unit is similar to that of first variant of invention. Receiving-transmitting means of both units may have wireless or optical connection. Pickups may be cemented on human skin or they are in the form of capsules implanted under skin in measuring points.

EFFECT: possibility for providing accurate and reliable information concerning glucose concentration in blood of human being, simplified design of low-cost apparatus with high technical and operational properties.
