SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the improved method for isolating ketones and/or acids from hydrocarbon mixtures, for example, oils, petroleum products, dispersed organic substance of rocks matter and so on. Method for isolating ketones and/or acids from hydrocarbon mixtures involves chromatography separation on binary sorbent, elution of substance to be isolated with some solvents with increasing polarity. The separation is carried out in column containing as upper sorbent the potassium silicate-modified silica gel and as bottom sorbent - non-modified silica gel taken in the mass ratio = 1:(1-4). Elution is carried out consequently with hexane, mixture hexane : dichloromethane in the volume ratio = 4:(1-2), dichloromethane, mixture methyl alcohol : benzene in the volume = 1:(0.5-1) and with 1-3% solution of formic acid in mixture alcohol : benzene in the volume ratio = 1:(0.5-1) and the following isolation of end products. Method for separating isolation of acids and/or ketones provides elevating concentration of end substances in isolated fractions.
