FIELD: building, particularly equipment for driving piles, grooved piles and building structures with the purpose of foundation building.
SUBSTANCE: method involves inserting and accelerating beetle part of hydraulic hammer by feeding working liquid in rod end of cylinder when leading up beetle part and discharging working liquid from rod end when accelerating beetle part at constant gas pressure; moving liquid from rod end at first into overflow chamber into which pressure increases by value sufficient for following displacing working liquid with the purpose of distribution thereof during leading up operation. Device has beetle part, cylinder with piston and rod, distribution means, overflow chamber, pressure and drainage hydraulic lines, additional gas chamber having constant pressure and guiding means for beetle part movement. Beetle part and overflow chamber are arranged from cylinder outside. Shaft is connected with beetle part by hinge.
EFFECT: extended range of operational capabilities, improved efficiency due to increasing beating speed and net impact energy, enhanced manufacturability.
