SUBSTANCE: the vacuum arc chute has a vacuum housing consisting of a cylindrical insulator with a bearing bush of a thermoplastic material enveloping a movable rod with an arcing contact. The bush has bulges and spring-loaded components with stops and horns, the bulges and the stops provide for a stiff fixation of the bush against axial displacement, and the horns fix it against circular movement.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of fixation of the bearing bush against axial and circular movements, and enhanced maintainability due to provision of removal of the bush from the arc chute.
