FIELD: control of the multi-engine electrical drive of printing machines.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with a device and a method to control operation of the multi-engine electrical drive of printing machines. A synchronizing device is serving at least two groups of printing apparatuses (2, 3) forming one sheet printing machine (1), each of these groups of printing apparatuses (2, 3) has in the capacity of a drive at least one self-contained power-driven electric motor (7, 9) and a system of toothed wheels. Between the groups of the printing apparatuses (2, 3) there is one sheet transfer section (10) with self-contained adjustable drive (12). The device and the method to control the drive may be used for the printing machines with several mechanically stand-along electric engines, in particular, at least, for two groups of printing apparatuses (2, 3) forming one sheet printing machine (1). The invention is intended for application in sheet printing machines of sectional construction and provides simplification of control at the expense of elimination of mechanical links between the different sections of the printing machine.
EFFECT: the invention allows to simplify control over the sheet printing machines of sectional construction.
