FIELD: production of polymers and thin-walled envelopes.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device for cutting polymeric envelope by heated wire has frame with wire heated by electric current secured on contacts and frame moving drive. Frame is made in form of metal circuit with straight-line and arc-shaped sections, wire being secured in contacts of arc-shaped section and straight-line section being installed ion post for turning and equipped with hinge joint located on end face coupled with frame moving drive member. Frame moving drive member is made in form of pneumatic cylinder rod. Proposed device provides cutting of article in direction of string movement both clockwise and counterclockwise making it possible to cut off two articles at one working stroke of pneumatic cylinder piston.
EFFECT: reduced size, simplified design.
