OBJECT DISPLACEMENT METHOD Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2233787 C2

FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in devices providing displacement of objects, bringing objects, including those of large size and mass, out of aircraft, ejection, load-handling operations and pushing submersible projectiles out of ship launchers. Chamber with step-by-step changing of volume is formed on base of flexible hose laid in ordered fashion by means of closed guide with bottom and pusher proper. Compact ordered laying of flexible hose is provided using the following procedure: hose unfolded in length and perimeter is divided into steps, and locks 6 are installed inside and outside each step. Then hose is folded at each step over perimeter in form of member-fold with top and two bases. Members-folds are fixed in tops and each pair of their bases are shifted towards ach other to form S-turn members 13 and on each member-fold said S-turn members 13 connect bases to each other. Chamber of step-by-step changeable volume is formed as follows: front edge of hose is connected with rigid pusher 17, and terminal edge of hose is connected with close guide 20 provided with bottom 21 to form chamber 22 with step-by-step change of volume. Object is displaced when pressure is built in chamber 22 of step-by-step changeable volume by moving pusher 17 under action of which tops of neighbor members-folds are released, step-by-step in succession, and bases inside forward member-fold are released and moved apart and, simultaneously, following member-fold is sealed step-by-step, thus providing unfolding of hose in volume of chamber 22 changing step by step. Invention provides regulated conditions of object displacement according to preset efforts and velocity enlarged control range and curvilinear displacement of pusher with object.

EFFECT: improved safety, failure proofness, and reliability, increased service life.
