FIELD: paint and varnish materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for preparing oily-resin varnish that is used in producing enamels used as protective, decorative, dielectric and other organic covers. Oily-resin varnish is prepared by condensation and copolymerization of vegetable oil, polyhydric alcohol, polybasic acid and a modifying agent with addition of a solvent on the final step of process. As a polyhydric alcohol the waste after processing high-boiling by-side products in producing dimethyldioxane, i. e. flotation agent - oxal is used. As a modifying agent petroleum-polymeric resin is used that is taken in the weight ratio vegetable oil : petroleum-polymeric resin = (1-4)-(1-5), and if necessary lead-manganese siccative 64P and waste in production of caprolactam oil POD is used as polybasic acid in the following ratio of components, wt.-%: vegetable oil, 5-30; petroleum-polymeric resin, 5-40; flotation agent - oxal, 1-25; oil POD, 0-15; indicated siccative, 0-2; solvent, 35-45. The prepared oily-resin varnish exhibits high exploitation indices.
EFFECT: improved preparing method, improved, enhanced and valuable properties of varnish.
