FIELD: biotechnology, clinical microbiology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for bacteriological diagnosis of salmonellosis with high effectiveness. Nutrient medium of this special designation comprises pancreatic piscine hydrolyzate, food yeast extract, sodium chloride, lactose, sucrose, brilliant green, phenyl red, microbiological agar and tris-(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane. The nutrient medium shows the balanced nitrogen nutrition comprising pancreatic piscine hydrolyzate, food yeast extract and inclusion of tris-(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane provides the complete inhibition of growth of accompanying microflora (gram-positive cocci, proteus) and to retain high growth properties of medium with respect to the main pathogen.
EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of nutrient medium.
