SUBSTANCE: feed additive includes squash cake produced by pressing, with ground squash seeds being preliminarily wetted with aqueous solution of citric acid before pressing process and with concentration of citric acid being 1-2% and citric acid being used in an amount of 2-2.5% by weight of ground seeds. Feed additive further includes natural biological corrector "Elite", preliminarily extruded chick-pea flour, organic selenium, amino acids, organic acids, ascorbic acid and succinic acid, chalk, potassium iodide, diammonium phosphate and defluorinated phosphate, said components being used in predetermined ratio. Feed additive of such composition is introduced into main ration for animals and poultry.
EFFECT: increased egg laying capacity, increased gain in live weight, increased denitration, enhanced sorption of heavy metals, such as cadmium and lead.
