METHOD FOR PACKING ROLLS Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: packing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of packing roll roofing and hydraulic insulating bituminous and polymeric bituminous base and baseless materials. Method provides for placing rolls on pan in rows square to surface of pan, fastening of rolls and pan with packing tape and wrapping rolls and pan in film. Rigid cores are fitted in central holes of two or more rolls before wrapping rolls and pan in film. Diameter of core should correspond to inner diameter of roll and provide tight contact of roll and core surfaces. Then angle plates are fitted on two extreme opposite rows of rolls, one inner surface of each angle plate being pointed to end faces of rolls of corresponding row, and other inner surface being pointed to side surface of rolls of corresponding row. Protective angle plates and rigid gasket (if any) are covered from top by packing tape which is pulled along rolls, passed from below under base of pan, tightened at required compression force and fastened. Pan, thus, formed is wrapped in polyethylene shrink film. Proposed method of packing provides safety of package in process of storage and/or transportation by different types of transport, vertical stability and rigid fixing of rolls on pan inside hood of polyethylene shrink film and prevent falling and damage of material.

EFFECT: simplified process of laying and fastening of load in vehicle, possibility of storing in two tiers.
