FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for polymerization of ethylene that involves preliminary activation of Ziegler's catalyst-base usual catalyst eliciting high activity by its interaction with trialkylboron exhibiting reducing properties at definite temperature followed by carrying out the polymerization reaction by addition of mentioned catalyst and saturated halogen-containing hydrocarbon compound. In correspondence with the method for polymerization of ethylene it is possible to obtain polymers with broad molecular-mass distribution value and formed high-molecular tail fraction. The claimed method provides carrying out synthesis of polymers with structure of bimodal molecular-mass distribution being even into a single reactor.
EFFECT: improved method for polymerization.
