SUBSTANCE: method for producing lock component including at least one catch and rotary catch displacement unit involves forming plastic casting having body unit and several parts defining base plane; connecting operating members to body unit by frangible connection means or connection areas, where operating members are molded so that they lay at least in one plane mismatching with base plane of body unit; compressing plastic casting for arranging operating members in their working positions and for damaging frangible connection means which results in locating operating members in plane coinciding with above base plane.
