FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves using carboxyl-containing fructose polymers, namely carboxymethylinulin for preventing accumulation of deposits consisting of carbonate and sulfate calcium, barium and strontium salts. Carboxyl-containing fructose polymer including 0.3 - 3 carboxyl groups per monosaccharide link is fed to formation water in technological equipment or in oil-carried bed.
EFFECT: increased efficiency.
