FIELD: rocketry; self-propelled missile heads.
SUBSTANCE: proposed cassette-type head includes envelope with ammunition and opening and drift units. Drift unit is made in form of two flat supports. Area of one support exceeds area of other support by 1.4-2.5 times. Surface of lesser support is perpendicular to longitudinal axis of head. Surface of larger support is inclined from longitudinal axis of head by 99-107 deg. Sub-ammunition has center of mass at distance of 0.29-0.56 of its length from rear end face.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of sub-ammunition; low cost; simplified construction.
