METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING COMMUTATOR-TYPE INDUCTOR OF MAGNETOELECTRIC MACHINE (ALTERNATIVES) Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: electrical engineering; manufacture of high-coercivity permanent-magnet electrical machines.

SUBSTANCE: according to first alternative flat oversize nonmagnetic rings are manufactured with allowance for machining prior to assembling composite inductor; inductor pole shoes are manufactured with oversize base and sides abutting against permanent magnets with allowance for machining; upon machining of pole-shoe sides to desired size flat nonmagnetic rings are installed on their ends and locked in position. Then oversize base and nonmagnetic rings are machined to desired size of cylindrical surfaces and brought in to coaxial alignment. After that rectangular pre-saturated permanent magnets are installed in clearances between sides of pole shoes and locked in position. According to second alternative only one part of pole shoes are made with oversize base for machining allowance and during assembly they are uniformly spaced apart over inductor circumference at distance equal to difference between inductor bore diameter and mentioned machining allowance of base. Flat nonmagnetic rings are manufactured with machining allowance for diameter d while they are installed and locked on ends of mentioned part of pole shoes. At the same time permanent magnets are saturated, polarity signs are marked on their sides, and they are mounted on sides of remaining part of pole shoes using attractive interaction effect; then rings and pole shoes are machined to desired size of their surfaces and brought in coaxial alignment; permanent magnets are installed with their like-polarity poles on respective sides of pole shoes.

EFFECT: facilitated manufacture of inductor.
