FIELD: electrical engineering; magnetos for driving microcryogenic systems, compressors, domestic appliances, and machine tools.
SUBSTANCE: proposed stack for shaping rotor magnetic system intended for use in magnetos to convert mechanical energy to electricity and vice versa has more than two magnetically permeable steel stampings with pole horns formed by prismatic tangentially N-S magnetized permanent magnets placed inside stack. Novelty is that stampings have no open circuit with jumpers over outer diameter and this circuit is interrupted over inner diameter.
EFFECT: enhanced manufacturability of rotors, improved performance characteristics of commutator-free magnetos.
