SUBSTANCE: hot-link telephone exchange has line input unit; subscriber distribution frame unit; unit of sets of subscriber lines; switching field unit; servicing instruments unit, numeric control unit; special-purpose control device assembled of three peripheral control units, random-access memory, central control unit, program memory unit, and program selection unit; workstation unit; data display unit; channel sets unit; transit connection unit; unit of sets of connecting lines; differential-systems unit; unit of automatic voice-conversion devices; interface unit; channel input unit; channel switching unit; group data encryption unit; digital-channel switching unit; interaction signal unit; voice-frequency signal conversion unit; individual data encryption unit; unit of sets of transfer lines; subscriber lines; connection lines; voice-frequency channels; digital channels, and transfer lines. Newly introduced in telephone exchange are numeric control unit and special-purpose control device assembled of three peripheral control units, random-access memory unit, central control unit, program memory unit, and program selection unit. Proposed telephone exchange incorporates provision for built-in functional check and for adapting its operation to varying operating conditions.

EFFECT: enhanced operating reliability and speed, improved quality of servicing subscribers, enhanced efficacy of establishing communications.
