FIELD: mining industry, particularly opencast mining of horizontal and slanting mineral beds.
SUBSTANCE: method involves developing stripped rocks by excavating explosion; carrying out remainder rock in exhausted zone; excavating mineral. Discharge coefficient is increased due to exception of bottomhole area. Transferring of any remainder rock is performed with the use of mine excavator of right shovel type. The first excavator cut is carried out for cleaning slope of rock ledge off overhanging rock with simultaneous transferring rock in exhausted space. Formed cone is removed by earthmover. The second cut for waste rock removal is performed along ore body surface with simultaneous cleaning mineral from rock. Rock cone is transferred by earthmover. Then trench is formed in contact area between rock and ore body by excavator. Trench depth is equal to digging depth of excavator. Trench width depends on ore body thickness. When ore body thickness is more than 5 m ore is excavated in two ledges with simultaneous trench digging and rock from trench is moved to dump.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of deposit mining.
