AMMUNITION OF VOLUMETRIC EXPLOSION Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: defense industry; production of ammunitions of volumetric explosion.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with the field of defense industry, military engineering and may be used in production of ammunitions of volumetric explosion of various destination. The ammunition contains modules with bottoms, a combustible, dispersive-initiating charges, a fuse, a drag parachute and a detonation cord. The detonation cord is fixed on a flexible bearing part, supplied with a protective mantel and made composite of separate parts, the ends of which are fixed on the bottoms of the modules by means of pyrotechnic adapter connectors. The modules are located in a vertical one over another and are fastened to each other by connective halyards, the lengths of which make 4.7 - 7.3 of the lengths of the modules. The detonation cord is located along the axis of the modules between the connective halyards, along length of which the ring-shaped riffle are uniformly fastened. The fuse is mounted on the lower module and through a dispersive-initiating charge is pyrotechnically connected to the detonation cord, the length of parts of which makes 1.2 - 1.3 of lengths of the connective halyards. The invention allows to increase efficiency of the ammunition action on the target at the expense of formation of a vertical elongated charge and a volumetric explosion with the required features of the casualty actions.

EFFECT: the invention allows to increase efficiency of the ammunition action on the target.
