FIELD: military equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to military technology, namely to high-explosive ordnance. Ammunition contains separate sections with a charge of an explosive mixture, a central bursting charge and an initiation system. These sections are connected by a flexible link and are located in a combat position in the form of a garland. There are blocks of ready damaging elements. They are placed along the side surface of the charges in the sections. At the bottom of the upper section there is a non-contact explosive device and a braking device. Central bursting charges are made to the full height of the explosive with a detonation velocity higher than that of the explosive mixture. It is possible to initiate a central bursting charge in the lower section from both ends, and in the remaining sections only from the upper end. At the same time, separate sections are made with the possibility of overlapping their fragmentation fields along the radius of expansion of the finished striking elements. Beginning of the place of overlapping fields for each section corresponds to the radius of the continuous destruction of the total fragmentation field of all downstream sections.
EFFECT: improving the efficiency of fragmentation action due to an increase in the distribution density of the number of fragments per unit area of the earth's surface.
