FIELD: gas analyzing.

SUBSTANCE: method includes recording luminescence of the gas to be analyzed by at least two photomultiplier tubes. The radiation emitted by photomultiplier tube is used for inducing luminescence of the gas to be analyzed. The gas is introduced to the zone of intersection of the fields of view of receiving windows of photomultiplier tubes. The gas analyzer has the measuring cell for the gas to be analyzed, which are optically mated with the photomultiplier tubes. The measuring cell is interposed between the receiving windows of the photomultiplier tubes, one of which has the spectral sensitivity ranged within 400-600 nm, and the other one within 130-350 nm. There are synchronously controlled light gates between the cell and each receiving windows.

EFFECT: enhanced sensitivity of analyzing.
