FIELD: production of color kinescopes with straining masks.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertinent to production of color kinescopes with straining masks having a small factor of thermal expansion. The technical result is an upgrading of the color kinescopes at the expense of decrease of the necessary straining of masks, permitting to use the lightweight cradles, to which the masks are fixed. The result is obtained due to the fact, that the color kinescope (10), containing the straining mask (24) fixed to a supporting cradle (50) is made out of a material, the factor of thermal expansion of which is much less, than the factor of thermal expansion of the material of the cradle. The cradle strains the mask so, that its main resonance frequency equals to 90 Hz ± 20 Hz.
EFFECT: the invention allows to reduce the necessary straining of masks, to use the lightweight cradles, to which the masks are fixed.
