FIELD: coding for communication systems; turbo-code interleaving devices.
SUBSTANCE: turbo coder has first coder designed to sequentially receive plurality of input bits and to generate plurality of output characters therefrom and interleaving device designed to sequentially receive plurality of input bits; interleaving device has plurality of bit storage locations disposed in line-and-column matrix, as well as linear congruent sequence generator designed for pseudorandom sequence generation to shuffle bits in each line of interleaving device. Turbo coder also has second coder designed to sequentially receive plurality of interleaving bits from interleaving device and to generate second plurality of output characters therefrom.
EFFECT: enhanced capacity of transmission channel, reduced number of errors in data transmission and their next decoding.
