FIELD: distribution and transmission of communication and multimedia signals.

SUBSTANCE: communication and multimedia signals are distributed by means of junction device 27 connected to plurality of terminal devices 1 through 8 in apartment house rooms 25, 26; separate terminal devices should be preferably identical and connected to receiving equipment by means of cable terminated in plug connectors on both ends, these connectors being adapted to terminal devices and to receiving equipment; signal distribution device has several signal processing circuits 31 - 33 incorporating wire connection (switching cables) and connected to switching panel 2-23, each cable being either connected to terminal device or ready to be connected to new terminal device.

EFFECT: provision for distributing plurality of different signals through common switching network of house.
