FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to load-gripping devices designed for lifting and turning over large-size and heavy-weight loads. Proposed tie-rod consists of body and locking device. Tie-rod body is connected by one end to sling of crossmember, and hole with recess is provided on other end. Hole of body is fitted on ring journal with bead, and when sling with tie-rod is lifted by crane, recess in lower part of body hole comes in contact with seat spherical surface of rigging journal of load, thus forming spherical joint. Locking device includes bracket with safety pin which can be fitted in two positions, namely, lowered down and preventing getting of load rigging journal from hole of tie-rod body and open, lifted up, when tie-rod can be removed or fitted on rigging journal of load. Safety pin in any position is locked by spring-loaded rods of detents installed on bracket secured on tie-rod body. Trajectory of displacement of safety pin from one position to the other is determined by shaped slots found on safety pin.
EFFECT: provision of quick connection and disconnection of tie-rod from load, facilitated visual control of closed position of tie-rod on rigging journal.
