FIELD: lifting and handling equipment.

SUBSTANCE: proposed lifting and handling equipment is designed to transfer heavy out-of-gage special-purpose equipment under extreme climatic effects unstable natural factors. Cross arm representing load-bearing beam with support fixtures comprises a guide mounted on said beam to move thereon and along. Roller carriages are arranged to move in said guides. Paired rigging device with load grippers are articulated with said carriages. Balancer and counter balancer make, together with guides, the mechanism designed to cross arm equaliser. Said balancer and counter balancer can effect controlled motion along load-bearing beam and are mounted to effect controlled synchronous balancing opposing motion relative to beam central axis of symmetry. Proposed method of equilibrium adjustment of cross arm on support fixtures comprises bringing set of mechanisms to equilibrium by consecutive transfer of cross arm load-bearing beam moving devices.

EFFECT: expanded performances, compensation of possible departures of actual from theoretical magnitudes.
