SATELLITE RADIO NAVIGATIONAL SYSTEM FOR FINAL APPROACH AND LANDING Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2236020 C2

FIELD: radio navigation systems.

SUBSTANCE: system has N navigation satellites, base pseudosatellite made of receiving aerial, ground based receiver, unit for computing parameters to be measured, and correction computer connected in series. The pseudosatellite also has the transmitter of correction information whose triggering input is connected with the output of the frequency standard generator and output is connected with the input of the transmitting aerial. The adjusting input of the correction computer is used for introducing the co-ordinates of the base pseudosatellite. Each of the navigational satellites is connected with the aircraft and ground based receiver. There are additional satellites which are located at the definite sites, computer of the optimal co-ordinates, block of information parameters, and distributing unit. Each of the additional satellites has a frequency standard generator and transmitter. The input of the distributing unit is connected with the output of the correction computer. The first output of the unit is in communication with the first information input of the transmitter, and the other outputs are connected to the first information inputs of the transmitters, respectively. The computer of the optimal co-ordinates has n computers interconnected in series. The computers has outputs connected with the information inputs of the transmitters of the additional satellites and inputs which are in communication with the output of the block of information parameters of an airport.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability and accuracy.
