FIELD: aircraft.

SUBSTANCE: aircraft landing system comprises ground and on-board equipment. The ground equipment includes an interrogator (1), rangefinder stations (2) with rangefinder receivers (3), and a central station (4). The central station (4) comprises a coordinate calculator (5), a computer (6), a receiving and transmitting unit (7), and a runway database (8). The computer (6) comprises a module for deviation from a given trajectory (10), a module for control signals (11), a global satellite navigation system (GNSS) receiver (19), a module for relative coordinates (20), a module for deviation from a given trajectory (21), a signal extractor (22). The onboard equipment comprises an onboard GNSS signal receiver (12), an altimeter (13), an onboard transponder (14), onboard control equipment (16), a transceiver unit (17), an altitude determination unit (23), and the onboard equipment is connected to ground and central station two-way communication lines (15,18). For landing on the deck of a ship, blocks of pitching parameters (24,26) and a pitching compensation module (25) are additionally provided.
