APPARATUS "HYDROMAGNETRON" FOR MAGNETIC PROCESSING OF LIQUID Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: magnetic processing equipment for systems used in heat engineering, construction, chemical and petroleum processing industry.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has ferromagnetic cylindrical casing terminating in flanges for connection to pipelines. Annular concentric magnetic modules and cylindrical core with conical sharpened ends are arranged inside casing. Annular magnetic modules are formed from magnetic segments with radial direction of magnetic fields. Segments are joined to one another into magnetic module by means of H-shaped clamps with flexible curved strips, each contacting inner or outer magnetic module. Ends of ferromagnetic core are connected to streamlined magnetic circuits, whose other ends are fixed in casing inner surface. Gap between casing and annular magnetic module is filled with flexible material. When used in heat engineering, apparatus reduces settling of salt contained in liquids on surfaces of heat-exchangers and main pipelines and inhibits corrosion activity of liquids.

EFFECT: reduced drop of hydraulic pressure upon increased intensity of liquid processing.
