FIELD: cooling air in refrigerator chambers at positive and negative temperatures.
SUBSTANCE: proposed vertical vortex injector air cooler is updated version of such coolers for fast freezing apparatus. Novelty of invention consists in mounting fan in upper portion of air cooler; blades of this fan are mounted at angle between generatrix of fan body and tangent line to blade at air outlet near wall of body equal to

75 deg.; located in lower portion is vertical concentric entrainment separator with cone smoothly forcing air flow through entrainment separator; blades of entrainment provided at air inlet are mounted at angle of

40 deg. to tangent line of circle. Besides that, sprinkler is mounted in upper portion of heat exchanger for intensification of heat transfer process; ends of tubes of this sprinkler are bent in way of motion of air flow.
EFFECT: reduced power requirements and overall dimensions of air cooler.
