FIELD: aircraft flight control systems; complex calculation of reserve spatial attitude and reserve heading by mans of data available on board aircraft.
SUBSTANCE: according to one version, aircraft heading is known and according to another version, aircraft heading is calculated on base of data obtained from magnetic heading sensor. When heading (reserve heading) is known, spatial attitude is calculated by weighting together the signals from gyroscopes included in aircraft flight control system and information contained in aerodynamic data, as well as information of aircraft heading (reserve heading). When heading is unknown, spatial attitude and heading are calculated by means of Kalman filters by weighting together the signals from gyroscopes included in aircraft flight control system and information contained in aerodynamic data (altitude, speed, angle of attack and angle of sideslip), as well as information obtained from magnetic heading sensor available on board aircraft.
EFFECT: reduced amount of on-board equipment.
