FIELD: agriculture, in particular, method and apparatus for spreading over field surface of mineral fertilizer and other bulk materials.

SUBSTANCE: method involves feeding material onto spreader disks rotating in opposite directions and tossing material from disks; dividing material under tossing process into portions in the ratio of 10:35:55; distributing said portions in vertical plane, namely, disposing portion 55 in upper zone, orienting portion 10 onto lower zone and disposing portion 35 between said portions; imparting different throwing speeds to divided portions, with minimal throwing speed being imparted to material with smaller portion and maximal throwing speed being imparted to material with larger portion; settling each of said tossed portions according to condition where Q is coefficient of settling of material from thrown flow; ω is angular rotational speed of spreader disk; h is thickness of layer of settled material; b is width of settled flow. Apparatus has device including bulk material vessel, feeding conveyor, fertilizer guide and disks and drive for rotating disks about vertical axis in opposite directions. Disks are equipped with combined blades having troughs made in the form of halves of round pipes cut in diametrical direction. Troughs are arranged in vertical plane, with areas of inner section of troughs increasing in upward direction.

EFFECT: optimal uniform spreading of bulk materials and improved process with regard to ecology control.
