FIELD: cooling units for flying vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: proposed cooling unit has housing with working chambers to which tubular evaporating elements filled with hygroscopic material are connected, charging pipe union connected by means of pipe line, air duct formed by inter-tube space, detachable filter mounted on charging pipe union and equalizing valves fitted on working chambers. Proposed cooling unit includes damper located at diffuser inlet and rigidly secured on axle connected with electromechanical drive; cooling unit includes also temperature sensor mounted on object to be cooled, analysis and control unit connected with electromechanical drive and temperature sensor, cover closing inter-tube space, branch pipe secured on cover by one its end and connected by bell mouth by other end and swirler coaxially located in this branch pipe on rod. Outer surface of swirler is engageable with inner surface of bell mouth; lateral surface of bell mouth and outer surface of swirler are provided with holes of one and the same diameter which are registered during assembly; these holes are used for mounting the pin. Side surfaces of swirler blades are made at angle of 30-60 deg. relative to axis of said rod and are perpendicular to planes passing through it.
