FIELD: controlling nuclear reactions in pressurized-water reactors; control element drives of nuclear reactors.
SUBSTANCE: proposed drive has shell, tractive, locking, and hold-up electromagnets, toothed rod, moving and clamping latches connected to tongues, tractive tongue coupled with movable pole of locking electromagnet and with movable latch, and bearing tube that mounts fixed poles of tractive and hold-up electromagnets. Latches are spaced apart through distance which is a multiple of drive rod pitch. Clamping latch moves axially when engaged through distance equal to minimum two-fold axial gap thereby ensuring axial play in movable latch during its engagement. Distance covered by movable latch is ensured by tongue displacement to fixed stop through rod pitch A plus gap δ.
EFFECT: provision for axial play in movable and clamping latches during their engagement and disengagement.
