FIELD: nuclear technology. SUBSTANCE: drive of regulating element of nuclear reactor is provided with second mechanism of axial movement made in the form of centering bushing 13 made fast to rotating casing 5 fitted with slot engagement 14 and spring-loaded mobile radial template 11 with two half-clutches 15 and 16 and two half-clutches 14 and 10 equipped with poles 17 and 21 moving from electromagnets 19 and 23. One half-clutch keeps mobile radial template 11 from turning through and the other one engages it in rotating centering bushing 13 with slot engagement. Half-clutch 20 transfers rotational movement to mobile radial template, screw 24 and bushing 25 with nut provided with key groove 26 to prevent it from turning. Nut carries second elements of burning out absorbers. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 dwg
