SUBSTANCE: synchronous ac generator includes ferromagnetic housing in which ferromagnetic stator is rigidly mounted. Inside housing of generator shaft whose ends are supported by means of bearing assemblies is arranged. AC winding and excitement winding are arranged in housing. Rotor in the form of tore having alternating ferromagnetic and non-magnetic portions is mounted on said shaft. AC winding and excitement winding that are rigidly secured relative to stator are wound onto rotor. Outside rotor on housing stator of electric-arc drive motor with AC winding is rigidly mounted.
EFFECT: enhanced power characteristics of synchronous AC generator.
