FIELD: machine engineering, development of machine tools for cutting racks with arch-shaped teeth.
SUBSTANCE: machine tool includes housing, table provided with means for mounting and fixing cut rack, slide carrying body with tool spindle, program control system. In order to enlarge manufacturing possibilities machine tool includes in addition rocking rest arranged on slide and having rocking axis normal relative to working plane of table and matched with curvature center of cut teeth. Rest is provided with rectilinear guides and it includes spindle body. Spindle is arranged in telescopic rotary sleeve that is mounted in spindle body. Rotation axis of spindle is arranged eccentrically relative to rotation axis of sleeve. Machine tool also includes primary transducers of motion impulses of table, rocking rest, spindle body and rotation of spindle and sleeve placed respectively in housing, slide, rest and spindle body.
EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities of machine tool.
