FIELD: drilling equipment engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device has swivel with rotation drive mounted on guiding carriage, mechanism for moving swivel away from well center axis, drilling pipes feeding mechanism. Rotation drive for swivel is made in form of coaxially placed high-momentum hydraulic engine and, mounted on the latter, disk hydraulic brake, while bodies of hydraulic engine and the brake are rigidly connected to each other and placed in lower portion of swivel body, and rotor of hydraulic engine, and brake shaft, are made hollow and mounted onto upper hollow shaft of swivel, for this in lower portion of swivel body a through aperture is made, inside which on ball bearings, of or example needle type a hollow output shaft is mounted, while inner radial bearing supports of hydraulic engine rotor are concurrently an upper support for output shaft of swivel.

EFFECT: higher reliability and maintainability of upper power drive of drilling device, decreased mass and dimensional characteristics.
