FIELD: hand firearm.

SUBSTANCE: the firing mechanism has a trigger, firing spring and striker coupled to it, the firing spring is made of one or several plates that are unstable to longitudinal load, and displacement of the striker is provided by deflection of the firing spring at the instant of loss of longitudinal stability by it at action of the trigger on it in the longitudinal direction directly or from it through a system of levers.

EFFECT: simplified construction of the firing mechanism and enhanced durability of it.
