FIELD: concentration of minerals; separation of fine minerals by density.
SUBSTANCE: proposed separator includes jigging screen in form of vertical taper bowl with impeller on its bottom and circular drain branch pipe on open upper end, drive for rotation of bowl, housing secured beneath bowl at the top of hollow shaft coaxially relative to them, water jacket mounted on the outside of jigging screen, under-screen water supply unit, radial chambers communicated with screen and provided with diaphragms for oscillation of under-screen water, feed supply unit and discharge units for escape of the oversize and undersize. Inner surface of screen is provided with projections mounted over circumference forming vertical narrowing chutes with horizontal riffles on their bottoms; provision is also made for discharge branch pipes. Unit for forming oscillations of diaphragms is made in form of three-member differential mechanism with carrier, central wheel and satellites opposite each radial chamber which are provided with eccentric pins connected with diaphragm by means of connecting rod.
EFFECT: reduced consumption of under-screen water; enhanced efficiency of separation; avoidance of vibrations.
