FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dressing of mineral resources and may be used for concentration of ores and sands containing heavy fine-grain minerals. Proposed concentrator comprises support frame, stationary housing with flange joint, tailings discharge flute, taper settling chamber with permeable side surface, inserted screen cone and pressure taper mask fitted on hollow shaft, hydraulic seal between stationary housing and rotary settling chamber, tripping water feed device, moving cone with concentrate discharge communicated with stationary housing via rubber diaphragm. Tripping water feed device tangentially feed water into housing hydraulic seal zone at least six points along housing perimetre. Housing hydraulic seal is made up of one revolving lower and one stationary rings. Revolving ring outer surface incorporates radial vanes arranged along perimetre.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of dressing, simplified design.
