FIELD: powder metallurgy, namely processes for making semi-finished products of Al-Zn-Mg system aluminum alloys designed, mainly for producing welded structures.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of preparing melt aluminum, superheating it by 150 - 200є C. Dispersing melt, degassing crystallized dispersed alloy for further hot deformation of it. According to invention melt is dispersed by means of jets of aqueous solution of inhibitors selected from group of weak electrolyte for receiving crystallized dispersed alloy in the form of powder. Value of pH of aqueous solution of inhibitors is regulated in range 3.5 - 5.0. Temperature of formed pulp is controlled in range 15 - 25є C. Produced semi-finished products have strength of welded joints exceeding that of well known materials by 50 - 55 MPa, ultimate strength and limit yield of basic material exceeding those of known materials by 110 - 119 and 107 MPa respectively.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of products.
