FIELD: railway transport; design of locomotive bogies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of locomotive bogies with controllable kinematically radial setting of wheelsets. Proposed device has frame elastic members of first and second stage spring suspension, wheelset axle boxes, overframe member connected with bogie frame by means of cantilever side extreme and middle brackets and inclined links, kingrip and side supports. Flexible side stops connected with bogie frame are installed on extreme brackets located over wheelsets. Variable rigidity units arranged on middle brackets of overframe member are connected with movable center of bogie frame means of links. Cantilever brackets of overframe member are aligned with middle brackets. According to first design version, frame of bogie consists of two fork-like parts connected by forked ends in center of frame by means of upper and lower rubber-and-metal joints (silent blocks) and stabilizers on hinge joints. According to second design version, brackets of bogie frame are connected with axle boxes by means of stabilizers-links installed with tilting as sides of trapezium where lower base of trapezium is axial line passing through joints of link brackets on wheelset axle boxes, and upper base of trapezium is axial line passing through hinge joints of link brackets on bogie frame.
EFFECT: improved operating characteristics of locomotive.
