FIELD: pipe-line transport, applicable in manufacture and construction of pipe-lines transporting corrosive media.
SUBSTANCE: the steel pipe with a plastic lining has an outer and inner pinching rings located concentrically in each end of the pipe. The outer ring is positioned between the end faces of the lining and pipe and made of the pipe metal. The inner pinching ring presses the end of the lining to the pipe and is made of corrosion-resistant steel. The sealing ring is made of elastic material. The inside diameter of the pipe ends within the place of location of the pinching rings exceeds the inside diameter of the pipe proper. The sealing ring is located between the end faces of the lining and the outer ring and is made of a more thermoresistant material as compared with the lining. The thickness of the pinching ring within the layout of the outer ring may be reduced down to 2-4 mm at a respective increase of the thickness of the outer ring.
EFFECT: enhanced serviceability of the pipe.
